We were married for over thirty-two years and although she was interested in Amateur Radio, she didn't like the code and as soon as he code requirement was dropped for No-code Tech, she got her license. She used to help me with my projects and spent quite a bit of time listening to the Cactus System and even went with me to several of the radio site when repairs or maintenance was required.
She only had her license for just over four years but was involved in the hobby since the late sixties, when I took up the hobby.
Beside being my wife, she was my Best Friend", my antenna "Ground Crew" and my "electronic Assembler". Thanks to he help, understanding and support, together we built one of the most extensive and versatile Amateur Radio Remote Base Stations, I believe is in existence today. With just a 23cm hand held, I can operate all the Amateur Radio bands from 160m through 23cm, including the 33cm band!
She is survived and GREATLY MISSED by myself, our two daughters and seven grand children.
