Former Page Mayor Dan Brown has passed away peacefully at
his home on December 5th, 2012. He was 63-years old. Dan Brown served
as Mayor of Page, the city he loved and chose to live in, between May,
2005 and May, 2007. His dedication to serving the community was
expansive and he served on the Page City Council from May, 2001 to May,
2005 when he was sworn in as Mayor.
Dan traveled the world with the love of his life and
partner in all, Janet Brown. He was a dedicated Ham Radio enthusiast,
classic car collector with a fondness for MGs, electronics buff, and
Motorola expert. Dan was a dedicated family man who loved being with his
two daughters, Jessica and Sarah, grandchildren and family.
Dan and Janet moved to Page over two decades ago from
Gunnison, Colorado where they operated a radio station. They have
operated KPGE and KXAZ in Page since moving to Page, along with Lake
Powell Life Dot Com.
