Steve was a VERY close friend of ours as he and his ex-wife Connie's daughters and our daughters grew up together and we all started out in Amateur Radio at the same time.

Steve was only six months younger than myself and our families used to do quite a lot of stuff together plus we were all more like brothers and sisters rather than just friends!

Steve is survived by two ex-wives and four or five daughters (I can't remember if he had two or three daughters by his first wife because he used to introduce them as "This is my daughter by me ex-wife and her husband." and one brother and sister, that I know of.
