2024 Annual Cactus Intertie System
Membership Meeting

HOTEL & MEETING INFORMATION

The 2024  Cactus Intertie System Annual Membership Meeting will be held on March 8-9, 2024, at the Harrah's Laughlin Resort and Casino. The address is 2900 South Casino Drive, Laughlin, NV 89029. Members may make reservations at the hotel by using the link below and using Group Code [S03CAM4]. Reservations made by calling the hotel directly at 866-781-9572 will be subject to a $10 service fee which is beyond our control.

The meeting will begin at 8:00 AM, with doors opening at approximately 7:00 AM. It is suggested you arrive when the doors open so that you can get checked in. There will also be a swap table and a raffle prize table available for review and purchase. See Below.

When making a reservation be sure to select BOTH the arrival and departure dates and press update. The system defaults to a one night reservation.



SCHEDULE

Friday afternoon, March 8th, there will be a Cactus Intertie System Training session held at the hotel beginning at 2:00 PM (Note new time.). The doors will open approximately 30 minutes early to allow people time to get in, visit, buy a manual, and get seated. Following the training (approximately 4:30 PM)there will be a pizza, beer, and soda social gathering. The cost of the pizza and drinks is $15, cash only, at the door.

Saturday evening, March 9th, the Meeting Dinner will be served at the hotel beginning at 5 PM (doors open at 4:30).  The cost is $45 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity.

Meeting Dinner Menu

Dinner is hot plated. You have your choice of one entrée; either Chicken Madeira or Salmon with Lemon Butter. All dinners include Caesar salad, oven roasted baby red potatoes and green beans. Warm rolls, butter, coffee and ice tea are included. Dessert will be New York cheese cake.

When purchasing dinner, please select the entrée of your choice.

CII Members and Cactus System Affiliate Members can purchase Registration and Dinner Tickets today using PayPal. Our standard PayPal shopping cart environment is not currently functional so each purchase will result in an individual transaction. Choose an option below and click "Donate"

[NOTE: Dinner cost is anticipated to equal price quoted and therefore Dinner Fee is not a deductable donation.]

Registration & Dinner Tickets can also be purchased in advance by mailing a bank check to the Cactus Intertie, Inc. CFO/Treasurer at PO Box 12589, Prescott, AZ 86304-2589, or by using Zelle as described under Donations on the Home Page. These methods are available until January 2024 and are especially good for bulk purchases. They avoid Cactus incurring transaction fees. Please send email noticing payment to: CFO@Cactus-Intertie.org . Your payment will be acknowledged.



RV PARKING - AIR TRANSPORTATION

There is an RV Park in Laughlin (Riverside RV Park) near the Tropicana Hotel. You can walk to the Tropicana then take the shuttle to Harrah’s.

Air transportation into Bullhead/Laughlin is available during this time of the year. Sun County Airlines and SkyWest offer direct flights in conjunction with some major carriers. You may want to consider these special flights. Otherwise, Las Vegas is the closest major airport (approximately 75 miles).



2024 Cactus Meeting Swap Table Information!

This is your opportunity to bring out some of that stuff that's been collecting in the garage, on the workbench, or the kitchen table. Now's the time to root around and find a few items to bring along! Turn it into cash, or perhaps trade with another member for something more useful! Looking for something obscure? In need of a new project? Who knows! It might just be sitting on the Swap Table! 


Rules are simple:

- Items must be of an amateur or commercial radio nature. No computer junk, 11 meter rigs, etc.
- Small to medium sized items only, please. We simply can't handle your quarter-kW MICOR's.
- Please conduct swap table deals before and after the meeting, during breaks and during lunch so as to not detract from the meeting.
- The CII and its affiliates cannot be held liable for swap table activities, you buy, sell and trade at your own risk.
- Items must be clearly marked with your asking price, name and call sign so people know what you want for it, and who to talk to about it.
- Unsold items are the responsibility of the seller to remove if they aren't sold by the end of meeting activities (after dinner). Abandoned items become the property of Cactus Intertie, Incorporated.
- Fun must be had with the swap table activity!

Cactus Intertie, Inc. encourages everyone attending the meeting to participate in this activity. The more the merrier! We will have a couple of tables set up at the meeting for you to place your items on or under.
